Really Red Deer-Tongue Lettuce
55-60 days. A wonderful, red-speckled Lettuce from our favorite Northwest breeder, Really Red Deer-Tongue has smooth, arrow-shaped, long, pointed leaves with rich dark wine-red coloring with contrasting, pale green midribs. A succulent cross of Butterhead-Romaine types, it has tender, fleshy leaves with an exceptionally good flavor and texture. So nice to pair it with a contrasting green leaf like Divina. (OP.)
