Nicotiana sylvestris. A South American heirloom prized for its intoxicating fragrance, Only the Lonely is a tall, majestic plant graced with long, tubular white flowers. A favorite of Victorian gardeners, Only the Lonely releases its heady perfume in the evening hours~another perfect variety for moonlit terrace gardens. Take care, it is poisonous, so be aware when planting near curious children and pets, and throw felled foliage and spent flowers away; do not add them to your compost pile. Perennial.
