Bells of Ireland
Prior to sowing, soak the seeds overnight in lukewarm water to assist germination and direct sow 2 weeks before the last spring frost date. Readily self-sowing in the garden, it is also good for container plantings, bouquets and dried flower arrangements. To dry, cut the flowering spires when the flowers are fully open and hang them upside down in a dry spot with good air circulation. Annual. Summer flowering. Height: 2' to 3'.
Average seed life: 3 years.
