Nigella damascena. Also called Love-in-a-Mist, prolific Nigella is an easy-to-grow heirloom with delicate, wispy, star-shaped flowers, narrow, spindly foliage and dramatic seed pods. A beguiling plant for garden display, it widely revered in dried arrangements.
