Butterfly Pea

The Butterfly Pea, also known as Asian Pigeonwings or the Blue Pea, is an ornamental vine from Thailand with 1½" long, vivid blue flowers with pale yellow centers. The flowers are sometimes used as a natural dye for fabric, but they are most often brewed into a vivid blue tea that turns to purple or pink when lemon juice is added.
