50 days. Cucurbita pepo. Bella is pale green in the shape of a slightly ribbed tapered cylinder, best picked at 6” to 7” long for the best flavor. Beautiful, indeed! This is an early variety whose compact plants grow upright and openly for easier harvests. (F1.)

Thin skinned, they store poorly, so harvest right before use. Keep picking to ensure continued production. Avoid baseball bats~enjoy them small and sweet in ratatouille, stuffed and baked, grilled or sautéed with pasta. Bee friendly. Deer resistant.
