Phlox drummondii. A refined hybrid originating with the genes of a widely adaptable Texan native, our Phlox flowers freely from early to mid-summer until the first fall frost in garden borders, window boxes, terrace containers and rock gardens. Although it may be direct sown in the garden after the last spring frost date, it is best started indoors 8 to 10 weeks before transplanting out after all threat of frost has passed. Both heat- and drought-tolerant, Phlox grows and flowers best with regular, consistent watering. Annual. Summer-fall flowering. Height: 8".
