- 2 strips of bacon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Fry two strips of bacon until lightly browned, break it into small pieces and set aside. Pour off all but a tablespoon of grease and, while the pan is still warm, add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey and dry mustard. Swirl vigorously in the pan with a spatula. then pour over your salad. Toss, add salt to taste if needed, and serve immediately.
