Setting the Prices for Your Fund Raiser

We decided to keep everything as simple as possible from our end.

If you order 10 through 49 packets of one individual variety, we will discount the price 10%. If you order 50 or more packets of one individual variety, we will discount the price 25%.

To keep things simple, we suggest that you charge $3.50 per seed packet or three packets for $10. This is just our idea: certainly, you can charge whatever you would like and whatever you think your customers will pay to support your group.

Our special collections are already priced with a 10% discount. If you decide to sell any of our collections, we would be happy to offer you an additional 10% discount if you order 50 or more of any individual collection.

The shipping charge for orders over $200 is 3% of the seed subtotal. Orders under $200 will be charged normal shipping.

Here are two examples. Let's say that your group decided to sell a selection of heirloom vegetables. You picked out Rosa Bianca Eggplant, Brandywine Tomato, Purple Podded Pole Bean, White Icicle Radish, White Wonder Cucumber and Merveille des Quatres Saisons Lettuce. You order 50 packets of each variety so that the 25% discount was received. You charged $3.50 per packet to your customers. Your order with us, including the 3% shipping, cost $388.83. You sold out and your total sales were $875.00. Your profit was $486.18!

Or perhaps you decided to have an easy, quick seed fund raiser. You decided to sell our Child's Garden of Wonder collection which includes seven seed packets. You ordered 100 collections at an additional 10% off. You sold each collection to your customers for $19.95. Your order with us, including the 3% shipping, was $1,251.45. You sold out and your total sales were $1,995.00. Your profit was $743.55!
