Also know as Buck-horn’s Plaintain, Erba Stella is a unique, cold weather salad green prized in Italy for its mild nutty flavor and crunchy texture. Sow directly outside in early spring as soon as the ground can be worked or in the fall. It can tolerate moderate frosts and be grown all winter in temperate climates.
