These is nothing more alluring than the intoxicating, sweet scent of our summer gardens˜a heady fragrance of which we dream during the winter and for which we yearn in the spring. Certainly, there are many flowers whose beauty alone demands a place in our gardens, but a beautiful fragrant flower is in an exalted category all of its own. These are the varieties that we place strategically around our terraces and porches; along well-walked paths; and under open windows, hoping for warm night breezes to carry their sweet aroma into our dreams.
